Professional Summary
Triva Murtina Lubis, the faculty member at Syiah Kuala University since 2005, finished her master degree in Veterinary Science from Graduate School of Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2006. She received both her professional degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2000 and her first degree in 1998 from Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, Indonesia.
Her areas of interests are Veterinary Physiology particularly Reproductive Physiology (superovulation, sperm quality and fertility) in farm animals and Veterinary Hematology in beef cattle, dogs and some endangered species such as orangutans and elephants. Recently, She continues to investigate hematology profile in Sumatran elephants (Elephant maximus sumatranus) in Aceh and hunting local dogs (Canis familiaris) in West Sumatra.
She is a member of Indonesian Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA) since 2000. Meanwhile, since 2014 She is a coach for Student Activity Unit : Interests in the Profession and Pets (MIPROHEKSA) in Veterinary Medicine Faculty and since 2015 She is a person in charge of Veterinary Medicine Faculty for Indonesia One Health University Network (INDOHUN). Furthermore, She is a Director of Study Program of Animal Health since July 2016 in Veterinary Medicine Faculty.
